After a successful career as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner, Carol received her law degree from Fordham University School of Law in New York. Upon graduating from Fordham Law, she sat for and passed the New York Bar Exam. Carol subsequently moved to Georgia, where she successfully passed the Georgia Bar Exam. She then worked as an Associate at three large law firms in Atlanta,  representing insurance companies in workers compensation cases and trucking litigation. After becoming increasingly frustrated with the tactics used by insurance companies trying to take advantage of injured workers, she left the world of insurance defense and started her own practice, exclusively representing injured workers.                                                                                                                                                                                              While Carol's prior experience as a defense attorney gives her particular insight into the strategies insurance companies and their attorneys use in defending workers' compensation claims, her career as a nurse sets her completely apart from other worker compensation attorneys. Carol is especially skilled in reviewing and interpreting medical records and is quite comfortable interacting with doctors and nurses, skills which are especially important in the realm of workers' compensation. Most importantly, as a nurse, one of her greatest attributes was (and remains) compassion and empathy, traits which serve her well with her clients, who come to her during profoundly difficult times in their lives.  She is grateful to have the opportunity to fight for injured workers, helping them obtain the benefits to which they are entitled.
